Since 2002, Mareco Integrated Logistics is a privately owned logistics provider specializing in one-stop shopping solutions for international transport of food and food-related products.

Early 2005, Mareco South America Ltda - Brasil, was founded in order to provide and ensure a personalized and dedicated service to the ever expanding South American Foodstuff market.

In 2017, a majority of the shares of Mareco was taken over by Iceland’s Eimskip. The take-over allows Mareco to benefit from being a part of the companies network as well as from the different facilities Eimskip controls/owns worldwide, without any changes with regards to strategy, activities and daily management of Mareco itself.
